The vote is unanimous, The Help was FABULOUS! Such a great book. The wine selection was pretty creative. The Chocolate wine was perfection for what the book is about ;) - Great job ladies!

Our next reading selection is from Sara Potts-Floro: Stiff by Mary Roach. Just in time for Halloween, a book about cadavers! See you October 20th.

Hey ladies of Read Wine. Here is a short summary of what we decided in our second of many fun filled book club/drink wine nights!

FlashForward was a cool book with lots of crazy theories. I'm ordering the first episode on my Netflix so we can watch it next meeting.

We picked the next two books, "The Help" By Kathryn Stockett will be discussed on Sept. 29th at 7 pm. I will update the location as soon as I know!

The next book is "Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers" by Mary Roach which will be discussed October 20th.

Hey ladies of Read Wine. Here is a short summary of what we decided in our first of many fun filled book club/drink wine nights!

• We are going to chose the books based on what we pull out of the jar. For those of you that didn't suggest a book to go into the jar, have one ready for the next meeting!

• The book we picked for the next meeting is Flashforward by Robert J. Sawyer, picked by Ashley Scroggins. The next meeting would have been at her house (because her book was picked) but she lives in Wentzville so we are going to pick somewhere more central. I can offer my house up again if that's alright with people, I am open to other places as well.

• Next meeting is in 3 weeks, Sept. 8th. I will soon post a calendar of all meeting dates.
